Last updated: 15 September 2026. Up2Reset is the product brand. The live Mac App Store listing is still named Up2Stretch until version 1.3.0 is approved.

Data collection

Up2Reset does not collect personal data, usage analytics, tracking identifiers, contact information, location, health records, or diagnostic data.

Local storage

The app stores timer settings, today’s summary, optional work notes, optional activity hints (foreground app names, if you turn that on), and local reports on your Mac using Apple local storage. Up2Reset does not upload this information.

In-app purchases

Pro purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Up2Reset reads App Store entitlement status to unlock Pro features. It does not receive payment details.

Idle detection

Optional Pro idle detection reads the system idle duration. It does not record keystrokes, mouse coordinates, or window contents, and it does not require Accessibility permission.

Notifications

Pre-break banners use UserNotifications. Content is generated on-device. You can disable notifications in System Settings.

Third parties

Up2Reset does not include third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.

This website

The marketing site at up2reset.com is static. It does not set an analytics cookie. Hosting and DNS providers may see ordinary web logs (IP, user agent) as any site does.
